Organisation Overview: Singapore Children’s Society protects and nurtures children and youth of all races and religions. In 2025, the Society reached out to 22,333 children, youth and families in need. Established in 1952, its services have evolved to meet the changing needs of children
Today, Children’s Society operates more than 10 service centres islandwide, offering services in the four categories of: Vulnerable Children and Youth, Children and Youth Services, Family Services, and Research and Advocacy
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct research on emerging trends and new vendors to support innovative planning
Contribute fresh ideas to improve event themes and engagement strategies for younger donors
Conduct background research on volunteer & donor organisations, CSR initiatives and sector trends to support renewal and cultivation efforts
Support the staff to update volunteer donor records and renewal statuses within the donor management system (DMS) to ensure data accuracy
Assist in data analysis and generation of insights to support volunteer donor engagement, fundraising strategies and organisational planning
Support staff in responding to and following up on volunteer requests
Assist with the migration of data to the new Volunteer Management System
Support the Partners Engagement team in sourcing and researching potential partnership leads and maintaining an organised tracking sheet of relevant information
Support the management of the Donations-in-Kind (DIK) inbox and related administrative coordination, where applicable
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Diploma in Mass Communication, or any Communication and Media Relations related field
A creative and proactive thinker with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Passionate about fundraising, community engagement and events management
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
