Over the years, we have grown from a small church-based initiative into a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status, serving children, youths, families, and seniors through practical support, education, and community engagement.
Brief Description: The Volunteer Management Executive - Intern , is responsible for developing, coordinating, and sustaining volunteer engagement at Bartley Community Care Services (BCCS). This includes recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers across our programmes that serve children, youths, families, and seniors. The role also oversees volunteer deployment, appreciation, and retention initiatives to build a strong and motivated volunteer community that aligns with BCCS’s mission and values.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination
Assist in recruiting and scheduling volunteers for various BCCS programmes and community events.
Help manage volunteer sign-ups, confirmations, and communication before and after activities.
Volunteer Engagement & Support
Provide on-site support during volunteer sessions, ensuring smooth operations and positive volunteer experiences.
Help facilitate icebreakers, briefings, and debriefs for volunteers.
Training & Orientation Assistance
Support in preparing materials and coordinating logistics for volunteer orientations or training sessions.
Assist in maintaining updated volunteer information and training records.
Data Management & Reporting
Help maintain volunteer databases, attendance lists, and service hour records.
Assist in preparing simple reports or summaries of volunteer participation and feedback.
Events & Appreciation Initiatives
Support the planning and execution of volunteer appreciation activities and engagement campaigns.
Contribute creative ideas to strengthen volunteer retention and recognition efforts.

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
