Brief Description: We’re seeking Retail & Events Interns to support daily retail operations, including inventory tracking, e-commerce management and order fulfilment for our partner causes. You’ll also help plan and coordinate sustainability-focused workshops and events. This hands-on role sits at the heart of the social enterprise scene and suits resourceful, independent, creative candidates comfortable with irregular hours.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Retail
• Including tracking inventory and fulfilment of online and corporate orders
• Managing our e-commerce platform, including creating and managing product listings
• Assist with customer enquiries and cashiering duties at the physical outlets
• Set up and maintain visual merchandising displays
• Writing blogposts and newsletters to spread awareness of various causes
Events
• Assist in event planning, execution and brainstorming
• Manage RSVP for guest list for events
• On-site set up and coordination with vendors/clients
• Administrative
• Assist in general operational and administrative tasks
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Retail & Merchandising Skills – Develop hands-on experience in inventory tracking, order fulfilment, e-commerce management and creating effective visual merchandising displays
Content & Communication – Strengthen writing and communication abilities through customer engagement, blogposts, newsletters and clear partner coordination
Event Planning & Execution – Gain practical experience in planning, organising and running sustainability-focused events, including RSVPs, vendor coordination and on-site operations
Partner & Stakeholder Management – Learn to support and nurture relationships with partners, vendors and clients while representing social-impact causes
Time Management & Problem-Solving – Build the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, multitask effectively and deliver results in a fast-paced social enterprise environment
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Tue - Sat, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Regular weekend work as part of normal schedule

• Passion for social and environmental causes
• Very pro-active and a multi-tasker
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines and drive results
• Team player who is resourceful and great with problem solving
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
