Organisation Overview: Happiness Initiative is a research-based social enterprise focused on the science of well-being. We envision a world where everyone is at their best by making well-being accessible. Through evidence-based well-being skills, tools, and initiatives, we partner with workplaces, schools, and communities to empower individuals and organisations to thrive.

Brief Description: Dive into the science that powers our workshops and products. You’ll support research, programme design, and impact measurement to help make well-being accessible to everyone.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Support literature reviews and research summaries

  2. Assist with programme design and activity development

  3. Help prepare materials for workshops and schools

  4. Support data collection, surveys, and basic analysis

  5. Contribute ideas for improving well-being experiences

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Understand how research translates into real-world programmes

  2. Build skills in evidence-based design and facilitation

  3. Learn to collect and interpret impact data

  4. Develop confidence in writing, research, and critical thinking

  5. Gain exposure to positive psychology and behavioural science

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: No weekend work required

Requirements (if any):

• Comfortable reading and summarising information

• Good with details and organisation

• Enjoys helping with workshop logistics and hands-on prep
