Organisation Overview: ONE Intervention Centre is a child psychology-led early intervention and inclusive education centre in Singapore for children aged 18 months to 12 years. We support growth across seven pillars-speech, social, emotional, behavioural, academic, physical, and self-help. We work like social enterprise, we mentor youth through hands-on experience with neurodiverse children, promoting inclusion and meaningful community impact.
Brief Description: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology Intern to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work with our child psychologist to assist in implementing interventions, and support strategies that enhance the well-being and development of our students. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students or recent graduates in psychology, counselling, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and impactful environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of individualised intervention plans designed by psychologists
Assist in delivering evidence-based therapeutic strategies in both 1-to-1 and small group settings
Observe and document student behaviours, emotional responses, and learning progress during sessions
Contribute insights during team discussions to support case reviews and intervention planning
Create and prepare visual aids, social stories, and other resources to support emotional, behavioural, and social development.
Conduct basic research on child development, special education approaches, and best practices in intervention
Help reinforce positive behaviour strategies and routines alongside therapists and teachers
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with ethical guidelines

Gain hands-on experience in implementing psychological strategies and interventions in a real-world special needs setting
Enhance your understanding of child development and the impact of diverse needs on learning and behaviour
Build your confidence in working directly with children through guided hands-on support in both individual and group sessions
Develop effective communication and interpersonal skills through collaboration with families, therapists, and educators
Enhance your observation and documentation abilities to support intervention planning and progress tracking
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: No weekend work required
