Brief Description:
AGAM is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Management Intern to join our dynamic team.The Production Management Intern will assist the Production Manager and other members of the production team in the planning, coordination, and execution of theatre production. This internship offers valuable insight into all stages of the production process, from pre-production planning to strike.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist the Production Manager with scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and managing calendars.
Organize and maintain production-related documents, including scripts, schedules, contact lists, and technical riders.
Assist with the preparation of production reports, budgets, and other administrative materials.
Manage communication and correspondence between various production departments (e.g., stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, set).
Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for artists and crew.
Pre-Production Assistance:
Assist in the research and procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
Help with the creation and distribution of production schedules and timelines.
Assist in the coordination of auditions, rehearsals, and technical rehearsals.
Support the development of technical drawings and plans.
Rehearsal and Performance Support:
Attend rehearsals and production meetings as required, taking notes and providing support as needed.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of rehearsal spaces.
Provide logistical support during technical rehearsals and performances.
Assist with the management of backstage areas and ensuring smooth transitions.
Technical Operations Exposure:
Observe and learn about the various technical aspects of production, including lighting, sound, set construction, and stage management.
Assist with basic technical tasks under the supervision of technical staff.
Post-Production Assistance:
Assist with the strike and load-out of productions.
Help with the organization and storage of production equipment and materials.
Assist with the reconciliation of production expenses.
General Support:
Run errands and perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager and other production team members.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in a collaborative environment.

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
Requirements (if any):
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Nitec/Higher Nitec/ Diploma program in Theatre, Stage Management, or production management or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong interest in live performance.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by production schedules.
