Organisation Overview: Growthbeans is a social enterprise that facilitates individual growth through deepening self-awareness within a safe circle - a supportive environment to germinate confidence and self-worth, pollinate ideas and perspectives, and cultivate wisdom and skills – to learn, share and grow without judgment and to be who and what one wants to be.

Brief Description: As a product intern, you will work closely with the co-founders to define and implement product development and product management plan. By being part of this team, you will be helping to create impact by enhancing the self-awareness and wellbeing of individuals through connecting people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape within the self-development space

  2. Work on the UX/UI and process flow of the product

  3. Work on the graphics of the product

  4. Create designs for use within the product

  5. Work with a developer to convert designs into working prototype

  6. Assist with the market testing and user feedback of product features

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Work closely with the co-founders and understand the start-up experience

  2. Gain experience working with developing a new product and conducting user feedback

  3. Learn how to effectively use Figma for UX/UI

  4. Consider the logic flow from the perspective of a developer when creating UX/UI designs

  5. Be empowered to share ideas and put your ideas into action to add value to the organization

  6. Develop communication, project management and decision-making skills

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
