Organisation Overview: '=DREAMS offers a range of programmes that focus on academic support, talent and interest development, and residential living/personal development. Through these, it aims to empower promising and aspiring children to break out of poverty by providing them with opportunities to fulfil their potential by achieving excellence in education within a safe residential learning environment.

Brief Description: The Outreach and Events Internship is responsible for the planning and execution of outreach events and activities to raise awareness of =DREAMS as a boarding campus. The intern will also be involved in reviewing publicity collaterals, as well as help manage the overall social media presence of =DREAMS

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Discuss and plan for outreach events and activities targeted at admissions

  2. Conduct varying activities to increase community awareness (e.g. campus events, door-to-door or community roadshows)

  3. Generate content and provide day to day management of =DREAMS social media (i.e., Instagram/TikTok)

  4. Provide administrative support for scholar admissions

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Have a better understanding of the social landscape surrounding low-income families

  2. Learn and understand the workings of =DREAMS as a boarding campus that ensures social mobility through holistic support

  3. Harness their communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills in their engagements with various stakeholders

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
