Operations Intern (Green Nudge Strategies Pte Ltd)

As a B Corp certified and raiSE registered social enterprise based in Singapore, we specialise in designing and executing sustainability-driven initiatives that invite organisations, communities and schools to contribute positively to the environment.

Brief Description: Operational work is often invisible, yet critical to effective sustainability action. Many good ideas fail due to poor coordination and weak execution. An operations and logistics intern helps strengthen planning, coordination, and delivery of cleanups, workshops, and events. This role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient execution, translating sustainability goals into real-world impact and supporting low-carbon, zero-waste outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support planning and coordination of events, workshops, and clean-up activities, including timelines, materials, and logistics.

2. Manage equipment, inventory, and transportation arrangements before, during, and after events.

3. Assist with on-site setup, tear-down, and facilitation to ensure smooth and safe programme delivery.

4. Document operational processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste; and

5. Facilitating cleanups, workshops, and other activities for clients (i.e. both corporates and schools)

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. Develop practical skills in event operations, logistics planning, and real-time problem-solving.

2. Gain experience in stakeholder coordination, time management, and professional communication.

3. Build understanding of how sustainability programmes are executed safely and effectively on the ground.

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 10.00am - 6.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: Flexible - weekend work may be required depending on operational needs

Requirements (if any):

4. You don't mind working in both indoors and outdoors.

5. You may have to work on certain weekends to participate in the events that are being held.

6. You are also expected to be responsible for your own learning process and development.
