Organisation Overview: Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors and empowering caregivers in our ageing society. As a non-profit Social Service Agency (SSA) registered with Registry of Societies, an Institute of Public Character (IPC) by Ministry of Health (MOH), and a proud member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), CWA operates with a vision to facilitate dignified ageing at home and within the community.
Brief Description: The intern will support the Marketing team in developing and executing marketing campaigns that promote CWA’s programmes, services, and initiatives. The role involves hands-on content creation, digital marketing, and event support, with opportunities to contribute creatively to storytelling, social media strategy, and public engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and produce digital content (social media posts, event visuals, and short videos) using tools like Canva and CapCut
Assist in photography and videography during events, workshops, and community activities
Support the daily management of CWA’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) — drafting captions, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement
Research trends and suggest creative ideas to enhance online visibility and reach
Assist in the promotion of CWA’s key campaigns and events (e.g. Caregiving Week, Stride for Care, and fundraising drives)
Update website content and e-newsletters, and support preparation of marketing collaterals and press materials
Liaise with internal departments, volunteers, and external partners to ensure marketing deliverables are met
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Apply marketing and communications concepts within a non-profit and community context.
Create professional social media and digital marketing content that aligns with brand tone and audience needs.
Demonstrate proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, and basic photo/video editing software.
Support the planning and execution of campaigns and events, gaining practical experience in end-to-end marketing processes.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver impactful communications.
Understand how strategic marketing supports community engagement, donor relations, and public awareness in the social service sector.
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
