Brief Description:
AGAM is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for a theatre company. You will work closely with the team to promote our programs, engage our audiences, and build our brand presence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok).
Create engaging and visually appealing content (text, images, videos) for social media posts.
Schedule and monitor social media posts using relevant tools.
Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster online community engagement.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to identify trends and optimize content.
Content Creation:
Assist in writing and editing marketing copy for various platforms, including website content, email newsletters, social media posts, and promotional materials.
Contribute to the development of blog posts, articles, and other content marketing initiatives.
Assist with the creation of visual assets using design tools (e.g., Canva) or under the guidance of a designer.
Email Marketing:
Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
Manage email lists and segment audiences.
Track and analyze email campaign performance.
Website Management:
Assist with updating website content using content management systems (CMS).
Conduct basic website analytics to identify areas for improvement.
Assist with SEO optimization efforts.
Market Research:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience demographics.
Assist in the analysis of marketing data and the preparation of reports.
Event Support:
Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events and promotional activities.
Provide on-site support at events as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist with general administrative tasks related to marketing activities.
Organize and maintain marketing materials and databases.
Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., programming, development) to ensure consistent messaging and integrated marketing efforts.
Participate in marketing team meetings and contribute ideas.

Through this internship, the Marketing Intern will gain practical experience in:

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
Requirements (if any):
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Arts Administration, Arts Management, Museum Studies, Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong interest in the arts.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
