We work closely with schools, companies, and community partners to design pathways that build independence, confidence, and long-term employability for individuals with diverse abilities.
Brief Description:
The LMS Content Intern will support the development of engaging, accessible, and practical digital training materials for employers and organisations in the area of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). This role focuses on transforming D&I concepts into clear, learner-friendly online modules using a Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is inclusive, relevant to workplaces, and aligned with best practices in disability inclusion and broader D&I themes. The intern will work closely with the training and programme team to co-create learning content that supports organisational awareness, capability-building, and inclusive workplace practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Content Development
• Assist in creating LMS-based training content (e.g. slides, videos, quizzes, reflections, microlearning modules) related to:
◦ Disability inclusion
◦ Inclusive hiring and workplace practices
◦ Accessibility and reasonable accommodations
◦ Inclusive communication and behaviour
• Convert existing training materials (workshops, presentations, case studies) into structured online learning modules.
• Support the writing of clear, concise, and engaging learning content suitable for adult learners.
2. Instructional & Learning Design Support
• Organise content into logical learning journeys, modules, and lessons within the LMS.
• Apply basic instructional design principles (learning objectives, knowledge checks, scenario-based learning).
• Help ensure learning materials are practical, workplace-relevant, and action-oriented.
3. Accessibility & Inclusion
• Support the creation of accessible content (e.g. clear language, captions, alt text, inclusive visuals).
• Review content to ensure it reflects inclusive and respectful language and representation.
• Incorporate real-world examples and case studies relevant to diverse workplaces.
4. LMS Administration & Testing
• Upload, format, and test content on the LMS platform.
• Conduct basic user testing to ensure content flows well and is easy to navigate.
• Support updates, revisions, and improvements based on feedback.
5. Collaboration & Research
• Work with internal stakeholders, trainers, and subject-matter experts to gather content inputs.
• Conduct basic research on D&I trends, workplace practices, and learning methods to support content development.
• Support documentation and version control of learning materials.

Hands-on experience in LMS content development and instructional design.
Exposure to real-world corporate D&I training and employer engagement.
Mentorship from experienced practitioners in disability inclusion and workforce development.

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Requirements (if any):
Essential
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a diploma/degree in:
◦ Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development
◦ Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resource Management
◦ Communications, Media, or related fields
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Interest in Diversity & Inclusion, disability inclusion, or social impact work.
• Comfortable working with digital tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, basic LMS platforms).
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple content pieces.
Desirable (Not Mandatory)
• Exposure to LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle, TalentLMS, Canvas, Docebo, etc.).
• Basic understanding of adult learning or instructional design principles.
• Experience creating digital learning content, videos, or e-learning materials.
• Familiarity with accessibility principles or inclusive design.
• Passion for creating meaningful social impact through education.
