Brief Description: We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team to make an impact on people’s experiences with us. Your work will include working closely with the co-founders to define and implement product & game design and development plans.
Through your work, you would be able to create impact by enhancing the self-awareness & well-being of individuals through connecting people, and by building more effective teams & organisations through breaking barriers between team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to support in product & game development
2. Work on the gamification mechanics of services/products and support the UX/UI of the product, embedding various concepts and applications of play
3. Collaborate with team members to incorporate our playful mediums and principles in the mechanics of the products & games
4. Create storyboarding for user engagement
5. Support landscape and benchmarking study of products & games related to personal development, organisational development, team building, enhancement of team effectiveness, mental health and well-being
6. Translate user research into review and enhancement of our services/products (usage of behavioural science principles to come up with intervention programmes and better communications)
7. Collaborate with other team members to test out product and game mechanics
8. Assist with the market testing and user feedback of product features
9. Work closely with team members to bring the product to fruition
10. Participate in and support business strategy and development meetings within company and with existing/potential partners
11. Develop, review and refine marketing materials, pitch decks and product catalogues in line with target markets’ needs and company’s product USP
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
1. To gain first-hand experience of the sweet spot between entrepreneurship and social sector
2. To be exposed to workings and networks across Public, Private, and People sector
3. To apply effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
4. To gain exposure to behavioural science principles
5. To develop an appreciation and practical understanding of the concept of play
6. To gain an appreciation and practical understanding of the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology and other experiential modalities
7. To gain experience working in a startup
8. To be able to contribute ideas and perspectives towards youth mental well-being and workplace mental health through involvement at different levels, including facilitating and direct participation in the workshops
9. To appreciate diverse perspectives and stories by connecting with, hearing from and discussing with peers and stakeholders on their experiences with youth mental
Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
