Brief Description:
The intern will support Project UP, a career development programme for university students focused on mentorship and personal growth. You’ll assist in coordinating activities, managing daily operations, and streamlining processes. The role involves engaging mentors, students, and partners while contributing to discussions that enhance programme outcomes and build key project management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Join team meetings and brainstorm programme improvements
Support process mapping for efficient programme delivery
Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and outreach
Engage students, mentors, and stakeholders for smooth communication
Provide administrative support, including materials prep and meeting coordination
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Gain hands-on experience in programme coordination and execution
Develop skills in process mapping and workflow improvement
Be able to engage and communicate effectively with students, mentors, and stakeholders
Be able to contribute to strategic discussions and programme improvement
Build teamwork, organizational, and administrative skills
Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
Requirements (if any): Passionate about youth, volunteerism, and community. Strong in people, organization, and communication skills. Tech-savvy in MS Office; Canva or Photoshop a plus.
