As a social enterprise with sustainability and humanitarian focuses, Terra SG’s work revolves around initiating and empowering people through running eco-education programmes, building green spaces, organising sustainable events, managing The Carbon Gallery and the Glow on Gallery and powering upcycling activities & workshops.
Brief Description: We are seeking Green Space Interns to support the conceptualisation, design and execution of green space projects. You will assist with idea generation, rendering, moodboards, technical drawings and visual materials, and provide support in graphic design, photography and videography. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented and keen to learn design tools like SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in conceptualisation, design, planning, execution and completion of green space projects
Support ideas generation, software rendering and presentation materials creation
Create and organize 'moodboards', as well as to provide technical drawings, sketches, documentation and visual representations
Provide support for graphic design, photography and videography
Conduct market research, market segmentation, and competitive analysis
Utilise computer applications like Sketchup, Enscape & Adobe software in the design process
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To understand foundational concepts in green space design and planning
To learn to use SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe software effectively
To develop skills in idea generation, rendering and presentation creation
To gain experience in producing moodboards, technical drawings and visual documentation
To learn to conduct basic market and competitive research
To be able to support the design and execution of green space projects
To be able to create sketches, moodboards, visuals and presentation materials
To be proficient in key design software used in the workflow
To be capable of contributing to graphic design, photography and videography tasks
To be equipped to perform simple market research and generate insights
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
