Organisation Overview: At Impart, we give youths a fighting chance. With Impart, youths-facing-adversity receive accessible and effective developmental opportunities, with support spanning Education, Mental Health Care, and Community-based group therapy.
Brief Description: The intern will assist the Head of Education in the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programmes, ensuring effective delivery and smooth operations. They will also provide support in software management and integration, helping with the implementation and testing of software systems used within the programmes. Additionally, the intern will support event planning and execution, handling logistics, coordination, and on-site assistance to ensure the success of educational events.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the operations of the volunteer teams in the running of programmes
Identify and implement processes to improve the rollout of programmes
Communicate and work with stakeholders to ensure program are running smoothly
Attend and hold weekly meetings with volunteers and stakeholders
Integrate Halaxy into programmes
Responsible for the upkeep of the Impart Education Halaxy Database
Identify, implement and improve processes within the Halaxy Database
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure events are run smoothly
Ensure relevant contingency plans are executed
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Learn about programme development and management
Enhance interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Learn software Integration and database management
Acquire event planning and coordination experience
Gain insights and exposure into the operations and advocacy efforts of a growing non-profit organization
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
