Brief Description: This role will focus on supporting the Corporate Services and Development Group (CSDG) function of the organisation. The role will focus mainly on Organisational Development and Volunteer Management responsibilities, but may provide opportunities to be exposed to other functions within CSDG, including HR, Finance, Fundraising, as well as functions outside of the group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Review and Development of Internal e-learning Modules: To review, design, and launch internal e-learning modules on Gnowbe that will enhance SHINE’s internal learning capabilities for staff development
2. Development of Internal Volunteer Partnerships and Development Training: To review existing resources and develop a refreshed internal training course for staff training on volunteer management
3. Conducting Programme Needs Assessment and Designing Volunteer Roles: To analyse existing volunteer roles, and to work with various programmes to understand their volunteerism needs, to curate meaningful volunteer roles
4. Curation and Design of Volunteer Roadshow Engagement Materials and Activities: To support in the design and curation of activities used for volunteer outreach purposes
5. Any other responsibilities and exposure as curated in accordance with intern’s learning goals
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
1. To apply microlearning instructional design concepts and skills to course development
2. To understand volunteer management considerations and analyse needs to curate meaningful roles and programmes
3. To create programmes and collaterals suitable for outreach and developmental needs for volunteer management
4. To gain an appreciation and understanding of non-client-facing work in a social service organisation
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Flexible - weekend work may be required depending on operational needs
