Organisation Overview: Established in 1992, Club Rainbow (Singapore) (CRS) is a non-profit organisation and charity with the mission to support and empower children with chronic illnesses and their families. Armed with the firm belief that every child deserves equal opportunities to lead a fulfilling and independent life, CRS supports our children and their families in more than 30 critical programmes, services and assistance schemes.

Brief Description: You will be working closely with our Community Engagement team with focus on managing events and campaigns. Your involvement is important in our efforts to better support and empower children with chronic illnesses & their families.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the staff overall in-charge in the management and execution of CRS’ annual signature events and VIA (Values in Action) /CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities for beneficiaries and their families

  2. Manage and organize programmes with corporate, institutional and community partners. This includes coordination of events dissemination across internal teams and beneficiaries

  3. Work closely with volunteers on programmes and beneficiary engagement, where such programmes required

  4. Support other duties in the Enterprise & Community Integration team as assigned by supervisor

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Gain hands-on experience working on purpose-driven projects within a Charitable Organisation

  2. Gain knowledge in effective events operations and participate in awareness efforts, driving outreach initiatives for the betterment of lives of CRS beneficiaries

  3. Gain exposure in wide scope of programmes and events work and channels

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
