Brief Description: The incumbent will support the Advocacy & Partnerships (A&P) team in enhancing HCA’s brand and equity among key stakeholder groups and the general public. He/she will work closely with the Communications team at HCA and will partake in projects and tasks that will effectively upgrade the image and branding of HCA through digital media, beneficiary-facing and public events, amongst other duties.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualisation, design, and execution of social media content;
Curation of user experience at events to enhance brand loyalty;
Visual design for event collaterals and other necessities;
Media production – photography and video production;
Development of patient impact stories – from interview to write-up;
All other tasks as assigned
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
The function and responsibilities of a corporate communications team;
Functionalities and considerations behind event planning and management;
A glimpse into what hospice and palliative care entails and greater appreciation for this meaningful, yet often side-lined subject;
General understanding of the non-profit/social service landscape and the unique challenges and considerations that come with it
Depending on commencement date, the incumbent will have the opportunity to be involved in the HCA Walk with Me Charity Walkathon in October as well as other awareness roadshows and fundraising events.
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pm
