Organisation Overview: Established in 2016, Digital Dream is a social enterprise that provides creative digital solutions for schools, institutions, elderly homes, youth groups, commercial spaces and offices.

Brief Description: This position assists the creative team with developing a wide range of art contents The intern will be tasked to draw traditional or Digital art to bring their ideas to life. The focus of the designs will be for creating content for special needs, education, elderly care activities, Arts and Heritage, youth programmes, and specific events. The intern will identify and articulate objectives, design story board, present ideas, create designs using 2D and 3D animation and Photoshop & Illustrator.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Creative Lead to create Art content for Special Needs, Education, Elderly activities and Youth programmes

  2. To assist with video editing, rendering background, environment design and user interface design

  3. Present story boards and outcomes to be achieved from the contents so as to get buy in and approval

  4. Design 2D/3D assets and animations for contents and create experiences for Immersive Interactive Mixed Reality

  5. Test the contents developed

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. To be exposed to opportunities to create art content and designs to be used in the Immersive mixed reality cave for special needs, children, youths and elderly activities

  2. To collaborate with colleagues and clients

  3. To apply knowledge and strong visual design skills to create digital art content

  4. To apply and expand on art, design skills

  5. To be able to identify and solve design problems creatively and effectively

  6. To gain knowledge in Unity, Unreal Engine, 3DSMAX, story scripting and UI/UX

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
