Organisation Overview: SATA CommHealth is Here To Care for the health of seniors and the vulnerable in the community. We have served around 200,000 patients in the medical centres every year. We serve our beneficiaries through community events, subsidised care at our medical centres as well as home and centre-based services which includes homecare services, doctors-on-wheels, day rehabilitation centres, Fernvale Community Hub and Community Clinic at Beach Road.

Brief Description: The Volunteer Management Intern will help create meaningful experiences for volunteers through engagement, event coordination, and administrative support. The intern will gain hands-on experience in volunteer management, communication, and building community impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support in executing Volunteer Management events.

2. Support the planning and executing of events and programmes.

3. Support the team on any other existing and new projects pertaining to volunteer experience and events planning.

4. Conduct surveys and gather feedback to improve volunteer satisfaction and programme effectiveness.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. The intern will gain hands-on experience in volunteer management, communication, and building community impact.

2. The intern will help to create meaningful experiences for volunteers through engagement, event coordination, and administrative support

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?:

Flexible - weekend work may be required depending on operational needs

Requirements (if any):

1. Currently pursuing at least a diploma in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies or a related field.

2. Basic use of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

3. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

4. Passionate about non-profit work and contributing to meaningful communication efforts.
