Brief Description: We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our team to make an impact on people’s experiences with us. You will be performing an instrumental role in bringing our early work on the concept of play to the ecosystem of other stakeholders, prospective clients and partners. Your work will include supporting the development of our business and partnership through increasing outreach efforts in both offline & online channels.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategise, conceptualise and execute innovative events, both in-person and virtual, to drive outreach to potential customers and partners
2. Create new sales leads and partnership opportunities from a variety of prospecting channels (including government agencies, corporates, social enterprises and charity organisations)
3. Enhance our presence and engagement in the social media and digital platforms with a focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, website and EDMs
4. Enhance existing website with blog and resources based on our programmes and research
5. Explore creative methods of storytelling to showcase users’ stories
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure better end-to-end customer journey to drive engagements and conversions
7. Review of brand positioning in VUCA environment to adapt to macro and industry trends
8. Development of marketing collaterals and content
9. Conduct research on macro trends and end-to-end consumer journey, including user research with key decision makers in corporates, to drive engagements and conversions
10. Persistently and thoroughly follow up your pipeline and CRM, build lasting relationships and assist in on-boarding new clients
11. Participate in and support business strategy and development meetings
12. Develop marketing materials, pitch decks and product catalogues in line with target markets’ needs and company’s product USP
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
1. To get first-hand experience of sweet spot between entrepreneurship and social sector
2. To be exposed to workings and networks across Public, Private, and People sector
3. To be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
4. To gain and apply knowledge on psychology and behavioural science
5. To develop an appreciation and practical understanding of the concept of play
6. To develop an appreciation and practical understanding of the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology and other experiential methodologies
7. To gain knowledge and experience working in a startup and developing your entrepreneurial spirit
8. To be able to contribute ideas and perspectives towards youth mental well-being and workplace mental health through involvement at different levels, including facilitating and direct participation in the workshops
9. To appreciate diverse perspectives and stories by connecting with, hearing from and discussing with peers and stakeholders on their experiences with youth mental well-being and workplace mental health
Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
