Organisation Overview: SCAPE Co., Ltd. is a non-profit organisation, a registered charity, and an Institution of a Public Character that engages and nurtures youth by developing their talents. At SCAPE, we offer a holistic network of programmes, communities, and facilities to support youth in their pursuit of interests and passion areas. Together with our partners, we inspire and empower our youth to discover boundless possibilities.
Brief Description: The intern will support programmes, engagement initiatives and activations relating to Youth Engagement (including youth groups and communities, COIs, Youth CoLab, etc), Volunteer Management, and Outreach and Education (including working with schools on learning journeys, roadshows, etc). He/She is also required to handle simple administrative work (include minute taking, on-boarding processes & etc), logistic support and marketing. Some programmes may be scheduled on weekends or public holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support planning and delivery of youth engagement programmes and/or initiatives at *SCAPE
Assist in activations and/or partnerships with external parties, including coordination across different parties and documentation
Handle simple administrative work (include minute taking, on-boarding processes & etc), logistic support, marketing (such as taking photos or short video clips during events) and other assigned tasks by the team
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Develop competencies in project planning and coordination for programmes and initiatives
Gain practical experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation
Build skills in end-to-end event management, from conceptualisation to execution
Strengthen ability to engage and collaborate with external partners and stakeholders
Enhance networking and relationship-building skills within the youth and community sector
Build confidence and effectiveness in presenting ideas and updates to stakeholders
Gain exposure to real-world practices in youth engagement and community partnerships
Develop professional communication and stakeholder management skills
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Flexible - weekend work may be required depending on operational needs
