Brief Description: We are looking for a curious and driven Business Development Intern to help identify and unlock new opportunities for safe and brave dialogue in Singapore and ASEAN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative collaborations, networking, and strategic thinking, and wants to support Lepak Conversations' vision to support the Self, Community and World through community-building events and thought-provoking content.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Opportunity Sourcing & Market Research
Identify potential partners, clients, and industries aligned with Lepak Conversations’ mission
Conduct market research on trends, emerging sectors, and community needs across Singapore and ASEAN
Map out opportunities for events, collaborations, and content campaigns
Partnership Development
Support outreach to prospective partners, including brands, organisations, and community groups
Assist in initiating conversations and building relationships with key stakeholders
Maintain and update a pipeline of leads and partnership opportunities
Proposal & Pitch Support
Assist in developing pitch decks, proposals, and partnership materials
Tailor value propositions to different partners and industries
Support preparation for meetings and presentations
Strategic Growth Initiatives
Contribute ideas for new projects, campaigns, or market entry strategies
Explore innovative ways to expand Lepak Conversations’ presence in Singapore and ASEAN
Collaborate with internal teams to align business opportunities with execution capabilities
Tracking & Reporting
Monitor outreach progress and partnership outcomes
Maintain documentation of leads, contacts, and engagement status
Provide insights and recommendations based on research and interactions

To be able to gain hands-on experience in business development and partnership building
To be able to develop strategic thinking, communication, and relationship management skills
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon- Fri, 10.00am - 6.00pm
