Organisation Overview: MEMBINA Community is a charity organisation that aims to support underprivileged youth and families in Singapore.
Brief Description: Support the planning and execution of youth development programmes at MEMBINA Community, including mentoring sessions, engagement activities, and outreach initiatives. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to working with youths from diverse backgrounds and contribute to building safe spaces and positive community experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing youth programmes
Support facilitation of mentoring and engagement sessions
Engage youths and build positive relationships during activities
Support programme coordination and basic administrative tasks
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be exposed to real-world youth development work
To be able to support facilitation of group sessions
To apply communication and relationship-building skills
To gain understanding of social issues affecting youths
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 10.00am - 7.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
