Organisation Overview: BMDP manages Singapore’s only register of volunteer bone marrow donors and with a slim chance of finding that perfect matched donor, we are fully committed to building the local donor register into a national asset to help all Singaporeans have that second chance of life.

Brief Description: This position will be supporting the Public Education team in Content Creation and Social Media Engagement, provide support for BMDP Recruitment Drives and Roadshows, assist in survey design and improvements, and provide development support for engagement tool for older children.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in Conceptualising TikTok Content: Support in brainstorming and developing engaging, educational TikTok videos tailored to raise awareness about marrow donation. Research and suggest trends, sounds and creative element to BMDP’s mission.
Content Production Support: Assist with scripting, storyboarding and filming TikTok video sto ensure content aligns with BMDP’s voice and educational objectives.
Social Media Engagement Tracking: Monitor engagement metrics on TikTok and other social media channels.
Onsite Event Assistance: Help set up and manage BMDP booths and exhibits at recruitment drives and roadshows. Engage with the public to provide information about marrow donation, address common questions and encourage sign-ups.
Logistics and Coordination: Help in coordinating event logistics, including managing supplies, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth operations during events.
Assist in creating pre-event social media teasers and post-event content to capture highlights, thank participants and encourage ongoing engagement.
Help design and distribute surveys during recruitment drives, roadshows or public engagement (e.g. storytelling sessions) to collect feedback on public awareness and interest in marrow donation.
Based on social media insights and event feedback, propose strategies to improve BMDP’s public education initiatives. Suggest creative directions or outreach methods to enhance impact and reach.

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
