Organisation Overview: Metropolitan YMCA of Singapore (MYMCA) was founded in 1946 with a vision to lead positive community transformation. The Association nurtures children and works with youths as part of its mission to effect and catalyse this change – today and for the future.
Brief Description: This position will assist the Reporting Officer in developing and executing strategies to connect, maximize and grow resources for the organization outreach effort. This includes supporting staff and gaining exposure to stakeholders’ relations such as internal outreach programme owners, external corporate partners, social service agencies, donors, and volunteers to plan and execute community development programmes and initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in programme management processes such as planning, design, facilitation, execution and review of programmes depending on the programme cycle and period of internship.
Volunteer Management– Training, School Engagement
Fundraising
Marketing
Assist in administrative work and ensure accurate and prompt updates of information related to volunteers, beneficiaries and partners.
Stakeholders Relation
Assist in reporting feedback or concerns raised by beneficiaries, volunteers and participants to staff in charge for further action
Support staff in communication with stakeholders and follow up on participants’ development and progress
Safety
Assist staff to ensure programmes are conducted in a safe and secure environment and implemented according to relevant policies and procedures
Support ACTS Division programmes and projects such as fundraising campaigns
Attend all related activities/meetings/conferences/trainings (internal and external) where appropriate
Undertake any tasks in relation to divisional outreach work as assigned from time to time

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.30pm
