Brief Description: We are looking for a curious, proactive and organised Project Management Intern to support the planning and execution of safe and brave community events and thought-provoking content campaigns for youth audiences, focused on Malay/Muslim issues in Singapore and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ideating creative solutions, facilitating dialogue on social issues and creating third spaces for community.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Assist in planning and executing events (e.g., panel discussions, community meetups, workshops) and/or digital content campaigns
Develop project timelines, task lists, and workflows to ensure smooth execution
Track progress and ensure deliverables are met on schedule
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with internal team members, partners, vendors, and collaborators
Schedule and facilitate meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
Maintain clear and consistent communication across all parties
Funding & Resource Sourcing
Research and identify potential funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and seed funding
Assist in preparing funding proposals, pitch decks, and supporting materials
Track applications and maintain a database of funding sources
Budget & Operations Management
Support budget planning and tracking to ensure cost efficiency
Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, vendor management, and resource allocation
Anticipate risks and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Monitoring & Reporting
Document project outcomes, insights, and key learnings
Prepare post-project reports and recommendations for future improvements
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To learn how to design inclusive and creative community-building and content-driven campaigns
To be able to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end project management
To be exposed to working closely with a mission-driven team
To be able to develop skills in stakeholder management, budgeting, and fundraising
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon- Fri, 10.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Flexible - weekend work may be required depending on operational needs
