Brief Description: The Programme Management - cum Finance Intern will support Mendaki Club's Secretariat Team in the coordination, tracking, and financial management of Mendaki Club's programmes, combining programme administration with basic finance and budgeting tasks. Regular weekday hours are expected, though occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Any additional hours beyond the stipulated schedule will be compensated through time-off in lieu.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of MENDAKI Club’s programmes
2. Coordinate communication with programme leads and volunteers to ensure timely execution of deliverables
3. Maintain programme calendars, trackers and databases
4. Support in compiling financial summaries and reports monthly for vendor payments and reimbursements
5. Support in preparing and maintaining programme budgets and financial records

2. Understanding of how programme and financial management intersect in a professional setting
3. Opportunity to develop strong administrative and analytical skills useful for future career growth
4. Gain insight into how a Secretariat Team supports and enables volunteer-led programmes and initiatives serving the Malay/Muslim community
5. Deepen awareness of contemporary issues within the Malay/Muslim community and how programme interventions contribute to positive change
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon -Thu, 8.30am - 6.00pm, Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
