Organisation Overview: Vox Camerata Ltd is a centre of advocacy, discovery, learning and practice for the arts and community building in Singapore. We use music and the performing arts to bring people and communities together. We began as a registered society in 2005, and recently became an arts non-profit company limited by guarantee in December 2022.

Brief Description: This position handles administration and logistics for research activities that culminate to community events, arts performances and intercultural programmes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting fieldwork (interviews, data collection, etc)

  2. Coordinate event logistics (e.g., venue booking, ticketing via preferred systems)

  3. Manage participant registrations and admin (e.g., microsoft Forms)

  4. Support on-site setup for community events

  5. Track budgets and vendor communications

  6. Assist in post-event evaluations with beneficiary feedback

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. To learn event administration protocols (e.g., ticketing, safety checklists)

  2. To understand logistics workflows by mapping participant journeys for 4 community events, ensuring 90% registration completion rates

  3. To apply organizational skills by coordinating logistics for 6 events, handling 50+ registrations/attendees per event without errors

  4. To evaluate programme delivery by surveying 30+ beneficiaries post-event, compiling a report with 3 actionable improvements by month 3

  5. To create a reusable event operations manual (including timelines, vendor lists) for Vox Camerata, finalized and tested in the final event

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Tue-Fri, 1.30pm to 9.00pm, Sat, 12.00pm to 7.00pm

Will this internship require weekend work?: Regular weekend work as part of normal schedule

Requirements (if any): Youth aged 17-25 from IHLs; organized with admin experience; familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace; passion for community arts.
