Organisation Overview: Buds Theatre is a not for profit theatre company, gaining recognition and respect across the region as an incubator for aspiring young artists and practitioners of excellence. To date Buds Theatre have produced a broad range of community initiatives including a partnership with ACM 2024/5 and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute 2025 & our on-going programme HEADSs with KKH. Buds is the producer of the largest Youth Theatre Festival in SEA, engaging over 1.5million youths todate.
Brief Description: To support Buds Theatre events both local, overseas and online through multiple tasks associated to Event Management; administration, communication, preparation, activation. Social Media and data analysis will also be a significant advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and operational support
Coordinate event venue arrangements
Coordinate event programmes and prepare event materials
Manage onsite logistics
Coordinate activities between crew and/volunteers
Co-ordinate lighting/AV/and staging requirements
Coordinate bumping in/out activities
Administer audience feedback and prepare post event report
Conduct equipment check and carry out proper storage
Prepare necessary documentation in support of production
Design and operate production

To be exposed to local and overseas partners/clients offering new perspectives
To enhance communication skills through daily interaction with local and overseas partners/clients & international management team.

Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 10am to 5.30pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
