Organisation Overview: Established in 1992, Club Rainbow (Singapore) (CRS) is a non-profit organisation and charity with the mission to support and empower children with chronic illnesses and their families. Armed with the firm belief that every child deserves equal opportunities to lead a fulfilling and independent life, CRS supports our children and their families in more than 30 critical programmes, services and assistance schemes.
Brief Description: The intern will work closely with the Programmes and Services team to support and empower children with chronic illnesses and their families. The primary focus will be assisting in the management and execution of LEAP (educational) and LINK (skills) programmes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
Programme Support: Assist staff-in-charge with the execution of academic-focused programs ranging from pre-school to secondary level, vocational training and skills programmes
Partnership Coordination: Support both regular and ad-hoc programmes in collaboration with corporate, institutional, and community partners
Volunteer Engagement: Liaise with volunteers to facilitate beneficiary engagement
Operational Support: Handle administrative and logistical duties within the Programmes & Services team as assigned by your supervisor
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Social Impact: Gain experience working within a purposeful charitable organisation dedicated to supporting children with chronic illnesses including special needs and learning disabilities and delay.
Programme Management and Operations: Develop hands-on knowledge and experience in managing a diverse range of programmes , operations, and outreach efforts.
Professional Exposure: Gain a broad understanding of diverse programme channels, from educational to vocational training.
Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm
