Organisation Overview: TriGen strives to bridge generational gaps through relationship building and meaningful interactions in its programmes to serve vulnerable older adults in Singapore with innovative intergenerational programme. We hope to inculcate youths with a passion for service and offer them a platform to gain healthcare and caregiving skills.
Brief Description: Interested in using data to drive real-world impact?
Join TriGen x Youth Corps Singapore and play a key role in strengthening how we track, analyse, and improve intergenerational healthcare programmes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data - but also wants to see how insights translate into on-the-ground decisions, programme improvements, and community impact.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Data Management & Organisation
Maintain and organise datasets related to volunteers, programmes, and outreach efforts
Clean, structure, and ensure accuracy of data across internal systems
Develop and improve tracking systems (e.g. spreadsheets, dashboards) for better reporting and visibility
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyse programme and volunteer data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
Support reporting on key metrics (e.g. participation rates, engagement levels, programme outcomes)
Translate data into clear insights and recommendations to improve programmes
Programmes & Operations (Ground Exposure)
Support execution of intergenerational healthcare programmes (community & hospital settings)
Assist in volunteer coordination and programme logistics
Work closely with the team to understand how data informs operational decisions
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Real-World Data Experience: Work with live datasets and build systems that directly support programme decision-making
End-to-End Exposure: See how data flows from collection → analysis → action on the ground
Dashboarding & Process Improvement Skills: Learn how to design simple, effective systems for tracking and reporting
Healthcare & Social Impact Insights: Understand how data supports community programmes and healthcare initiatives
Operational Awareness: Build a strong foundation in programme management and volunteer coordination
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
Requirements (if any):
Who We’re Looking For:
Students from Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fields
Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets (e.g. formulas, data cleaning, basic analysis)
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Able to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
Willing to be hands-on in both data work and on-ground operations
There will be meetings and programmes which will occur on weekday nights and/or weekends. If you are required to attend these events beyond working hours, you will be able to claim time-off and off-in-lieu days accordingly.
We’re looking for youth who are passionate about serving the community and keen to gain insights of the healthcare sector and the efforts to build intergenerational programmes to care for our older adults.
