Organisation Overview: Vox Camerata Ltd is a centre of advocacy, discovery, learning and practice for the arts and community building in Singapore. We use music and the performing arts to bring people and communities together. We began as a registered society in 2005, and recently became an arts non-profit company limited by guarantee in December 2022.
Brief Description: This role focuses on marketing, social media, and communications to promote performing arts and community building programmes
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create social media content (e.g., Instagram, TikTok posts) for Vox Camerata events
Manage online campaigns to boost attendance from diverse communities
Draft press releases and newsletters
Analyze engagement metrics to refine outreach
Collaborate with beneficiaries (e.g., participants in interfaith /intercultural initiatives) for testimonials
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To learn key principles of community arts marketing (e.g., audience segmentation for intercultural events)
To understand social media analytics by interpreting engagement data from at least 10 Vox Camerata posts monthly, achieving 15% growth in audience interaction
To apply digital content creation skills by producing 20+ tailored posts (Instagram/TikTok) that promote events to 500+ diverse community members
To analyze campaign effectiveness by evaluating beneficiary feedback from 3 outreach efforts, identifying improvements via a mid-internship report
To create an original communications toolkit (e.g., templates, strategy guide) for future arts programs, presented to stakeholders by the end of internship
To participate in the planning and execution of outreach campaigns that support public participation in arts activities
To learn how to communicate effectively with different stakeholders, including participants, audiences, and partner organisations
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Tue-Fri, 1.30pm to 9.00pm, Sat, 12.00pm to 7.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Regular weekend work as part of normal schedule
Requirements (if any): Youth aged 17 and above from IHLs; interest in arts/communications; basic Canva/Photoshop skills; strong writing and creativity
