Organisation Overview: Antica Community Development & Services (ACDS), supported by the Antica Foundation, is a non-profit focused on building an inclusive, intergenerational community through programmes for seniors, youths, individuals in reintegration, and adults with special needs. As a partner operator of Lucky Haven, ACDS delivers active ageing and community initiatives that empower individuals to connect, contribute, and thrive.
Brief Description: Support the development and execution of communications and social media strategies in a non-profit setting. The intern will assist in content creation, social media management, and storytelling, while supporting outreach campaigns and events. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, brand communications, and community engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in creating content for social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Support the planning and scheduling of social media posts and campaigns
Capture photos/videos during events and programmes for content use
Draft captions, stories, and simple write-ups aligned to brand voice
Monitor social media engagement and assist in responding to queries
Support outreach campaigns and community engagement initiatives
Assist in compiling simple reports on content performance and insights
Provide administrative and ad hoc support for communications tasks
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be exposed to content creation and social media management in a non-profit setting
To be able to plan and execute basic social media campaigns
To apply storytelling and communication skills across digital platforms
To participate in capturing and documenting community programmes
To learn how to analyse content performance and audience engagement
To gain knowledge in brand communications and digital outreach strategies
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
