Organisation Overview: Metropolitan YMCA of Singapore (MYMCA) was founded in 1946 with a vision to lead positive community transformation. The Association nurtures children and works with youths as part of its mission to effect and catalyse this change – today and for the future.

Brief Description: This position will assist staff in planning and executing programmes for children. The incumbent will support staff and gain exposure to stakeholders’ relations with corporate partners, social service agencies, volunteers and beneficiaries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in programme management processes such as planning, design facilitation, execution and review of programs depending on the programme cycle and period of internship.

  2. Assist in administrative work and support in prompt updates of information related to volunteers, beneficiaries and partners

  3. Stakeholders Relation

    • Assist in reporting feedback or concerns raised by beneficiaries, volunteers and participants to staff in charge for further action

    • Support staff in communication with stakeholders and follow up on participants’ development and progress

  4. Safety

    • Assist staff to ensure programmes are conducted in a safe and secure environment and implemented according to relevant policies and procedures

  5. Supports ACTS Division programmes and projects such as fundraising campaigns

  6. Attend all related activities/meetings/conferences/trainings (internal and external) where appropriate

  7. Undertake any tasks in relation to divisional outreach work as assigned from time to time

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.30pm
