Organisation Overview: Established in 1995, Lions Befrienders Service Association (Singapore) [LBSA] is a voluntary welfare organization dedicated to providing holistic care and support to help seniors age healthily in place with community participation, enabling them to enjoy purposeful and meaningful lives. LBSA currently operates 10 Active Ageing Centres, two Community Case Management Services regions (East &West), two Senior Group Homes, Home Personal Care services, that reaches out to socially isolated seniors.
Brief Description: As part of the Brand & Strategic Communications team, you will learn and assist in coordination and execution of Corporate Communications and Corporate Development initiatives, in areas such as Branding, Media Relations, Public Education programs, Publications (e.g. annual report, newsletters etc) and, to raise visibility, awareness and understanding of Lions Befrienders. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our digital presence, helping to shape our brand's voice and reach.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Innovate and Strategise: Take part in brainstorming sessions to develop groundbreaking ideas for our social media campaigns
Create and Influence: Produce compelling content, including eye-catching graphics and dynamic videos, to drive engagement across all our digital platforms
Pioneer Digital Trends: Research and propose cutting-edge methods for content delivery, ensuring our brand remains a leader in digital marketing
Build Connections: Help manage communications with our key partners and promote our initiatives to a wide network of stakeholders
Manage Our Narrative: Assist in handling media inquiries and requests, helping to maintain our brand's reputation and visibility
Amplify Our Story: Contribute to the creation of captivating content for both internal and external newsletters, sharing our latest achievements and news
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be able to liaise with different stakeholders
To learn how to do content creation using various social media accounts and events coverage
To be exposed to different social media platforms to expanding the organization influence and engagement
To participate in co-ordination of organization website revamping with vendor
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Will this internship require weekend work?: Occasional weekend work for special events/projects
