Organisation Overview: Stroke Support Station (S3) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting stroke survivors and caregivers through rehabilitation, education, and community engagement, empowering them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Brief Description: Are you interested in the people sector? Do you want to make a real impact while gaining hands-on experience in partnerships and volunteer management? At Stroke Support Station (S3), we’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and driven intern to join our team, helping us expand our network and enhance our community outreach in our 10th year since opening. Get ready to dive into a meaningful role!
Roles and Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Up To:
Community Partnerships Work: You will assist by connecting with potential partners who share our mission of empowering and promoting wellness for stroke survivors. In addition, you will assist in conducting research for new partnership opportunities, sponsorships, and collaborative projects. Your ideas matter, so don’t be afraid to think big.
Volunteer Management Assistance: Work with our Volunteer Manager to attract, engage, and retain dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. Your job? Ensuring volunteers feel appreciated and empowered through training sessions and rewards.
Event Planning Processes: To commemorate our 10th anniversary, we will be holding a Gala Dinner with our clients and supporters. Assist with planning, coordinating, and pulling off this event and others. We’re talking hands-on experience in everything from brainstorming fresh event concepts to coordinating logistics to making sure the snacks are on point.
Impact Tracking: Track, measure, and report on the success of our partnerships and volunteer programs. You’ll work on impact reports that let us see the difference we’re making—because every little bit counts.

Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 8.30am - 6.00pm (Mon - Thu), 8.30am - 5.30pm (Fri)
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
