Organisation Overview: Mentoring SG is a national movement that aims to build a culture of mentoring in Singapore and make mentoring more accessible for youth.

Mentoring SG seeks to support youth development and school-to work transitions through mentoring for youth to thrive, grow and realise their aspirations. Mentors could help youth broaden their perspectives in their definition of success; and provide guidance, support and practical advice to the youth as they navigate key transitions.

Brief Description: Ready to tell stories that matter? Mentoring SG is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who can craft compelling stories, design eye-catching visuals, and breathe life into fresh, innovative ideas. This isn’t just any internship—it’s your chance to be part of a national movement empowering the next generation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Brainstorm & Create: Develop thumb-stopping content ideas that resonate with youth, blending authenticity and trend-savvy creativity to inspire and captivate.

  2. Design & Manage Content: Craft and manage visuals, videos, GIFs, and stories across Meta, LinkedIn, and Telegram platforms.

  3. Track & Tweak: Use analytics to monitor trends, measure success, and optimise strategies to hit engagement goals.

  4. Write with Impact: Hone your skills in copywriting, editing, and proofreading to deliver high-quality, on-brand content.

  5. Event Conceptualisation: Help design and bring youth-centric events to life, from unique themes to creative visuals and strategic communication.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. Real Experience: Hands-on opportunities to create and manage content across various platforms.

  2. Skill Growth: Learn how to align every design, word, and campaign with a brand’s purpose and identity.

  3. Analytics Know-How: Get comfortable with data and make decisions backed by numbers.

  4. Collaborative Fun: Work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment (GIF wars included).

  5. Portfolio Power: Leave with a killer portfolio and advanced content-creation skills to show off.

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
