Organisation Overview: HeartBid is a homegrown social enterprise that helps charities and non-profits fundraise more effectively through curated auction experiences. We connect community partners, donors, and local contributors—including artists, entrepreneurs, and businesses—to reimagine giving, address donor fatigue, and promote deeper civic engagement. Our mission is to build a more collaborative and sustainable giving ecosystem.
Brief Description: The intern will support HeartBid’s social media strategy by creating content to spotlight auction campaigns, donor stories, and community partners, while increasing awareness of fundraising efforts and social impact.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms
Assist in campaign planning and storytelling for fundraising events
Track engagement metrics and generate performance insights
Support multimedia needs (e.g., visuals, reels, basic video editing)
Liaise with internal team to ensure branding consistency
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be exposed to digital campaigns in a social enterprise context
To be able to develop and apply content strategies for public engagement
To apply design and communication skills in real-world campaigns
To participate in discussions around social impact branding
To gain knowledge in audience targeting, campaign analytics, and storytelling
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 10.00am – 6.00pm (can be confirmed at a later date)
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
Requirements (if any): Knowledge of Canva or video editing tools is an advantage. Strong writing skills and familiarity with social media platforms are preferred.
