Brief Description: Youth, Others: Neuro Divergent

Roles and Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

  • Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand new features and functionalities.


Test Execution:

  • Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

  • Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur and new features have not introduced new bugs.


Reporting and Documentation:

  • Document test results, and create detailed test reports.

  • Communicate findings to the QA team and developers clearly and effectively.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions.


Tool and Environment Management:

  • Assist in maintaining and configuring test environments.

  • Utilize testing tools and software to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)

Requirements (if any):

  1. Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.

  2. Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Testim) is a plus.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  5. Good written and verbal communication skills.

  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  7. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java and TypeScript is beneficial.

  8. Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (NOSQL) is an advantage.
