Project Management Intern - Volunteer/Community Development (IAMinVISIBLE by Flower of Life Private Limited)

Organisation Overview: IAMinVISIBLE is a purpose-driven training and media agency based in Singapore with a strategic focus on Asia. We harness the power of authentic storytelling to illuminate unseen voices, shift mindsets, and drive real social impact. We have produced the inaugural ‘Do You See Me?’ storytelling showcase for 2 consecutive years in 2022 and 2023, had garnered media feature in both Singapore and Asia.

Brief Description: Seniors, Arts and Heritage, Children & Family, Special Needs, Youth

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Volunteer Engagement:
   Assist in recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers for various community projects and events.

2. Community Outreach:
   Engage with local communities to identify needs, build relationships, and promote the organization's mission.

3. Event Coordination:
   Contribute to the planning and execution of community events, workshops, and outreach activities.

4. Program Development:
   Collaborate with the community development team to design and implement programs that address identified community needs.

5. Communication:
   Support in creating content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels to keep volunteers and community members informed and engaged.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. To be exposed to real-world community engagement practices through active participation in outreach and volunteer initiatives.

2. To be able to coordinate and manage stakeholders and volunteers effectively for events.

3. To apply event planning and facilitation skills in the execution of community-based workshops and activities.

4. To participate in collaborative program development aimed at addressing identified needs within local communities.

5. To gain knowledge in building sustainable community partnerships and promoting an organization’s mission on the ground.

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
