Through research, collaboration, and technology, we strive to improve accessibility and quality of life for people with diverse needs.
Brief Description: The Programme Intern will play a key role in supporting volunteer operations, with a focus on strengthening engagement, expanding outreach, and ensuring smooth coordination across projects and events.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the existing volunteer pool to ensure smooth operations and engagement for the Make Inclusive Tech programme.
Assist in outreach efforts and actively invite new volunteers to join the organisation.
Document and track volunteer contributions across various projects for accurate reporting and recognition.
Collaborate with the social media team to create and public content on SalvageGarden’s social media.
Provide on-ground support during pop-up workshops and events as needed.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To build coordination and organizational skills through volunteer management.
To learn effective outreach and volunteer recruitment strategies.
To gain experience in documenting and tracking contributions.
To be able to get hands-on experience with volunteer-driven projects and events.
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Work Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
Requirements (if any):
Able to take initiative and work independently while also being a team player
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Adaptable and able to work efficiently in changing environments
Able to work on Sunday (Off Days to be Saturday and Monday)
