Organisation Overview: CampusImpact is a social service agency with IPC status. Since 2006, we have been working to prepare the next generation by helping them develop positive attitudes, pioneering spirits and purposeful lives. Our mission is to provide a holistic approach in character building for youths as they transit from childhood to adulthood, so that they will become useful citizens for the community and serve as pillars of strength for the nation.
Brief Description: The programme intern is responsible for working closely with key stakeholders to plan, organise, and implement programmes and activities for CampusImpact’s clients, manage volunteers and conduct needs and outcome assessment to measure and enhance programme relevance and effectiveness to bring about quality service and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the programmes team to plan, organise and execute programmes and activities for the clients of CampusImpact
Implement quality control and compliance procedures, particularly for the physical and psychological safety of our service users, many of whom are young children
Maintain daily records on progress of clients
Work closely with volunteers so that events and programmes can meet client needs while also meeting volunteers’ goals
Develop information materials for distribution to service users and volunteers
Coordinate with other organisations for execution of programmes
Support development of community outreach plan to other organisations and the community
Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders
Represent CampusImpact as and when needed, in any events or fundraising initiatives
Conduct periodic needs and outcome assessment to evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of our programmes
Conduct outreach activities to our target service user group, other organisations and the community
Perform any other administrative duties as required
To provide administrative or logistical support for special projects or events
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be able to execute curriculums
To be able to plan for curriculums
To be able to do classroom management
To learn how to do volunteer management
To gain knowledge on stakeholder management
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
