Brief Description: The Programme Intern supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of services and outreach activities for families, children, and youth in the community. Working closely with internal teams and community partners, the Intern helps ensure that programmes are well-organised, responsive to community needs, and run smoothly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Programme Support & Coordination - Assist in planning, coordinating, and running programmes and outreach activities for families, children, and youth to support their well-being and development
Community Engagement - Engage families and community stakeholders to encourage participation and ensure programmes are responsive to community needs
Partnerships & Collaboration - Support efforts to build and maintain relationships with schools, community partners, and volunteers to enhance service delivery
Monitoring & Reporting - Assist with basic data entry, tracking attendance, collecting feedback, and preparing simple reports for programme review
Administrative Support - Provide administrative support for programme logistics such as event setup, procurement, and coordination of resources
Any other duties as assigned by Manager or Programme Executive
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Gain exposure to various aspects of programme management
Connect and interact with various stakeholders in the programme (beneficiaries, volunteers, donors, etc)
Apply knowledge, interpersonal and IT skills in practice
Participate in operational, day-to-day duties of programme management
Apply into practive the knowledge and skills they obtained from schools
Develop a deeper understanding of the social service sector in Singapore
Duration of Internship: 5 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
