Brief Description: The Programme Assistant Internship at =DREAMS Singapore Limited offers hands-on experience in supporting scholars' social mobility. Interns will co-plan, execute, and evaluate activities in academic support, talent development, and personal growth, gaining insights into holistic youth development within an aspirational residential environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to co-plan programs or activities in academic support, talent and interest development, and residential living/personal development.
Provide input on logistics and communication strategies to ensure smooth coordination and execution of programs.
Co-design and implement evaluation frameworks to gather feedback and assess the effectiveness of programs.
Engage stakeholders strategically and support community awareness and outreach efforts for =DREAMS' programs.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
To be exposed to the planning and execution of programs supporting scholars' academic, personal, and talent development.
To be able to contribute to the development and evaluation of initiatives aimed at improving social mobility for scholars.
To apply communication and logistical skills in a real-world, collaborative setting.
To participate in stakeholder engagement and support community outreach for =DREAMS' programs.
To learn how to design and implement program evaluation frameworks to assess impact.
To gain knowledge in the integration of residential living and personal development in holistic youth programs.
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 1.00pm - 9.00pm (Mon - Thurs), 9.00am - 6.00pm (Fri)
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Time off will be given if required to work beyond working hours)
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
Requirements (if any):
Must be > 18 years and above
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, education, project management).
Strong interest in program development, social mobility, and community support.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Ability to think strategically and contribute creative ideas to program planning and execution.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Enthusiasm for working with diverse groups and a commitment to supporting the mission of =Dreams Singapore Limited.
