Brief Description: The team designs and implements impact programmes to help the differently-abled students to be more job-ready. We do this by adopting an ecosystem approach where we invite leading corporate partners to join us in our endeavour. Through many batches, our graduates have achieved great outcomes in securing employment in some yearned after MNCs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Help organise Community Projects & Community Events that support the skills development of PWDs. This will include planning, execution, logistical support as well as administrative support
Be a buddy to the Special Education Needs participants during the Programme
Help in sending out communications to SEN participants on WhatsApp/Telegram Channels
Assist in collating and creating simple content for Social Media Channels and Websites
Conduct primary and secondary research and documenting learnings and know-how in strategies to work with differently abled in the workplace
Manage Database and tracking progress of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) & Partners
Create reports and analyses of the outcomes of the Programme
Provide administrative support to the team's operations, e.g. notetaking for meetings
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Learn the various forms of disabilities and strategies to communicate and work with them
Project Management across various stakeholders
Exposure to the forefront of industry development
Coordination and communications with different stakeholders
Impact Tracking and Reporting
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
