Brief Description: Children & Family, Special Needs, Youth
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, filming, and editing of video content for various marketing, educational, and community outreach purposes, with a focus on showcasing the stories of our students and their development
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for video projects that highlight the impact of our programs and events on the children and their families
Help manage video content for our social media platforms and website, ensuring that the content reflects the voices of our beneficiaries and aligns with our brand message of empowerment
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for video storytelling and campaigns that represent our students' journeys and achievements
Support the post-production process by editing video footage, adding graphics, and ensuring a high-quality output that resonates with our audience and reflects our centre's values
Assist in maintaining video equipment and managing the production schedule, ensuring that all resources are effectively utilized in projects that directly benefit our students
Research industry trends and best practices in video production and content marketing to ensure the content we create is impactful and aligns with the latest developments in media
Monitor and report on the performance of video content across platforms, focusing on how the videos engage with and support our community, as well as their effectiveness in communicating our mission.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
Enhance your video production skills through hands-on experience in filming and editing, while contributing to projects that directly benefit children with diverse needs
Improve your creative thinking and storytelling abilities by developing engaging video content that tells the real-life stories of our students and the difference our programs make
Gain experience in project management by assisting in the planning, execution, and scheduling of video projects that showcase the impact of our work with children
Learn about non-profit marketing and community engagement, discovering how effective media can help raise awareness and contribute to positive change for children with special needs
Duration of Internship: 6 months
Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
