Marketing & Communications Intern (Friendzone Pte. Ltd.)

Organisation Overview: Friendzone is a social enterprise that dreams of the day when everyone experiences their neighbourhood communities as a friend-zone -- where it’s natural to approach another young neighbour to chat, hangout, or ask for help.
Friendzone is dedicated to activating and creating young adult communities through meaningful conversations. We design events, workshops & campaigns to facilitate the exchange of perspectives between neighbours.

Brief Description: Are you someone who cares about friendships or community building? Do you enjoy creating meaningful content and marketing?
We are looking for some fun-loving folks with an eye for aesthetics to join the team as we pursue the mission of helping others forge bonds and build connections in Singapore!

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Platform Development

   • Developing, designing or/and creating content ideas and campaigns based on Friendzone's marketing and communications objectives to inspire socialising, community spirit, and better friendships.

   • Writing of blogs, case studies, newsletters, and testimonies to showcase participant experiences, Friendzone's programmes & events

   • Increasing engagement and followership on Friendzone’s social media platforms

   • Ensuring our content is search engine optimised yeah!

2. Project Management & Event/ Workshop Marketing

   • Project managing and coordinating with clients, partners, freelancers to develop and run marketing campaigns

   • Showcasing Friendzone's event experiences through photos, videos, IG stories, and telegram posts.

3. Group Facilitation & Note Taking

   • Shape the experiences of participants by facilitating conversations amongst participants at events

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

1. To be exposed to the process of developing creative content strategies and implementing campaigns that inspire socialising, community building, and stronger friendships.

2. To apply social media management skills to increase engagement, grow followership, and optimise content for SEO.

3. To participate in planning and executing marketing campaigns in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, gaining practical project management experience.

4. To learn how to facilitate group discussions and foster positive, interactive participant experiences at events.

5. To gain knowledge in documenting and marketing events through compelling photography, videography, and real-time content updates for various platforms.

Duration of Internship: 5 months

Daily Working Hours: 10.00am - 6.00pm

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Qualification: No minimum education (i.e. A-level Graduates, Current Polytechnic students are welcome)
