Organisation Overview: Be Kind SG aims to foster a kind and inclusive society for persons with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and autism. Currently, our programs include supporting adult disability homes, children and youths with special needs and their caregivers with disabilities.

Brief Description: This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and support fundraising efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns

  2. Create engaging content for various social media platforms and marketing channels

  3. Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages

  4. Contribute to the planning and coordination of organizational events and activities

  5. Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns

  6. Provide administrative support for organizational meetings and activities

Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

  1. To develop a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by Be Kind SG's beneficiaries

  2. To gain knowledge in the social service sector, especially pertaining to special needs

  3. To be able to effectively engage with beneficiaries and volunteers

  4. To learn how to ensure program activities are inclusive and accessible

Duration of Internship: 6 months

Daily Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm, 1-2 half-day Saturdays

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Minimum Qualification: Polytechnic diploma or University graduates (Current Polytechnic students or University undergraduates are welcome as well)
